If illness or injury prevents you from working and your insurer denies or terminates your benefits, we can review the policy, the insurer’s reasons, and the medical evidence supporting your claim.

We help pedestrians and cyclists injured in collisions with vehicles. Our work includes gathering witness accounts, seeking available video footage, and documenting the impact of the injuries.

Serious & Catastrophic Injuries
Brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other serious trauma can affect every aspect of daily life. We work to document treatment needs, lost income, and the care and support you may require in the future.

YOUR FIRST CONSULTATION
Preparing to Speak With a Personal Injury Lawyer
Your first consultation is an opportunity to explain what happened, ask questions, and understand your options. Whether we meet at our North York office or speak by phone or video, the following information can help us assess your circumstances.
You do not need to have every document before contacting us. Bring or share what you already have, and we can explain what additional information may be needed.
Details of What Happened
Note the date, location, and circumstances of the incident, along with the names and contact information of anyone involved or who witnessed it.
Photographs & Other Evidence
Gather any photographs, videos, incident reports, or collision-report information you already have. Let us know if you believe a nearby camera recorded what happened.
Medical Information
Have any available hospital discharge papers, treatment records, and the names of your healthcare providers. Be ready to discuss your symptoms and how they affect your daily life.
Insurance Correspondence
Keep letters, emails, claim numbers, and adjuster contact information. For a disability matter, include the denial or termination letter and your benefits booklet or policy, if available.
Work & Financial Impact
Note any time missed from work, changes to your duties, and expenses related to your injuries. Available pay records and receipts can help explain the financial impact.
Your Questions & Concerns
Write down what you want to ask about the claim, legal fees, communication, or next steps. Let us know if you need breaks, written explanations, or other arrangements for the meeting.

Emergency Assistance Comes First
Call 911 if someone is seriously injured, there is immediate danger, or emergency assistance is required. A collision reporting centre is not a substitute for emergency care.
North Collision Reporting Centre
113 Toryork Drive, North York, ON M9L 1X9; Telephone: 416-808-3960.
Toronto Police currently lists hours of 8 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. Confirm current hours before attending.
What to Bring
For a driver reporting at the centre, Toronto Police directs you to bring your vehicle, driver’s licence, vehicle ownership, and insurance information. Follow police instructions about moving or towing your vehicle.
Highway 401 and Other 400-Series Highways
Toronto Police directs people involved in collisions on 400-series highways, including Highway 401, to the Ontario Provincial Police. Your home address does not determine which police service handles the collision.
Pedestrian and Cyclist Reporting
Pedestrians and cyclists can report at the North Collision Reporting Centre. Injuries may require police attendance at the scene; follow police instructions and obtain emergency assistance when needed.
Starting a Report Online
Toronto Police provides an option to begin a collision report online. Starting online does not complete the report: it must be finalized in person at a collision reporting centre.
